Brass Monkees are an electric 9 piece band bringing an action packed fun-filled combination of Soul, Pop, R&B, Funk and Motown. Perfect for any wedding, corporate event, party or live music venue, Brass Monkees are sure to give you that feel good factor and pack your dance floor. Featuring a 3 piece brass section that likes to dance with your audience and entertain the bride!
The Monkees have performed at a large range of festivals and wedding venues including headlining the Nantwich Jazz Festival in 2018 and recently performed for corporate clients such as Brother Printers. Other venues include Peckforton Castle, Carden Park, Crewe Hall, Rookery Hall and Symphony Hall in Birmingham so you can be confident of our high standards of professionalism and performance.
Along with our long list of corporate clients Brass Monkees are a hit with event production companies as well as festivals, private parties and weddings, performing at numerous events every year. We boast a large repertoire performing Pop, R&B, Soul and Motown party favourites from the 60’s through to the present day including David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, The Commitments, Pharrell Williams, Amy Winehouse, Incognito, Sam & Dave, Martha and the Vandellas, Earth Wind & Fire, Luthor Vandross and much more!
We are a 9 piece band compromising Male Vocal, Female Vocal, Drums, Bass, Keyboards, Guitar, Sax, Trumpet and Trombone and come complete with our sound technician throughout the night to make sure the best sound at all times. We come with our own PA system and lighting and if you so wish you can use our PA for your own Spotify playlist or use one you have made yourself! We do offer DJ packages so feel free to get in touch if you need this addition.

Brilliant! Look no further if you are after a band to play at your wedding. Brass Monkees were superb and filled the dancefloor throughout the whole of our wedding night. We had so many comments both during and after the day about how good the band were, they really were excellent and bought a huge amount of energy to the room. Brass Monkees were also very easy to deal with during the booking process and the build up to the wedding. Highly recommended!
I had Brass Monkees for my 60th Birthday in Knutsford at the courthouse. They were absolutely amazing. They got everyone up on the dance floor with absolutely no effort, because they are so good. They play all kinds of music. I was inundated with messages after my party saying it was one of the best parties they have been to. That was nothing to do with me. All down to the Brass Monkees. The Band played at our wedding celebration last Saturday and the room was bouncing. Everyone up dancing through every song! Something for every age and we loved them. One guest said “best wedding band he’d ever seen” and he’s been to many weddings and we have to agree. If your considering booking then just do it you won’t regret it! Well done guys

Couldn’t thank the BrassMonkees enough for playing at my Daughter’s wedding (Emily & Nathan Sant). All the guests commented on how fantastic they were and the atmosphere they created was incredible, especially when the trumpet & saxophone joined the dance floor! Brass Monkeys played at our Summer Party on Saturday after coming highly recommended to us and they certainly didn’t disappoint! The band were full of energy and the dance floor was buzzing all evening. We’ve had so many great comments from everyone, they really helped to make the party a big success. A great combination of songs and a really great touch coming out into the crowd, standing on chairs to play their instruments, fabulous!
What an amazing band that are full of life and vigour that added a vibrant atmosphere to our wedding. From the moment they started setting up you could see the curiosity in the faces of our guests, not knowing what to expect, so many faces and brass instruments. The sound check had people rubbernecked. Then it started and all of a sudden people rose to their feet and galloped to the dance floor. Those that remained seated were left bouncing in their chairs, unable to stop themselves joining in.
What more can I possibly say, that Brass Monkees took us through a journey in music from soul to funk and RnB and then finished the night with one of my favourite tracks, a conga that really was one step beyond. A perfect end to a perfect wedding day and night.
Thank you Brass Monkees, if I could I’d hire you again and again. Until then we will be looking out for other gigs of yours, that’s for sure.

The band don’t just stay on their stage/performance area. They come out into guests and play amongst the crowd.
Absolutely loved the moment 3 of them came and played their instruments around me and my husband then went behind the bar.
So many of our guests commented how amazing Brass Monkees are and how they really did make the wedding!
