The Cragganmore Ceilidh Band are one of the UK’s finest ceilidh bands, providing musical entertainment for weddings, parties, corporate events, functions and special occasions throughout Scotland, the UK and the rest of the world! With more than 30 years of experience within the industry, Cragganmore are a highly professional ceilidh band who offer a reliable, personal service from start to finish. The band have played for ceilidhs at venues throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK, including Gleneagles, Stirling Castle and Hopetoun House, as well as venues abroad within Malaysia and China!
The Cragganmore Ceilidh Band understand the importance of musical entertainment and guarantee to make your event both memorable and enjoyable for your guests, providing an energetic, authentic Scottish ceilidh experience. Our unique and individual service allows us to tailor your entertainment package to suit your tastes and budget. We are able to split the evening up with a mixture of both ceilidh and disco music, using our professional sound system and lighting. Cragganmore will also provide a highly experienced caller to talk guests through the dances.
Standard Set:
7-8pm: Band arrives to set up and soundcheck.
8-9:30pm: First dance, then ceilidh begins.
9:30-10:15pm: Buffet break, background music.
10:15-11pm: Ceilidh resumes.
11-midnight: DJ
The Cragganmore Ceilidh Band performed at my friends’ wedding a couple of weekends ago and were fantastic! At least half of the guests were not from Scotland so hadn’t ceilidhed before, but the band provided great instruction and energy which kept the dancefloor full and everyone having fun!
As a wedding planner, I can only recommend Cragganmore, their friendliness and passion for music made even French people dance throughout the night!

We cannot recommend The Craggenmore Ceilidh Band enough. We were incredibly grateful that the boys battled Storm Babet to travel up to Aberdeenshire to play at our wedding. Absolutely brilliant ceilidh and disco. Everyone loved them and we got so many fantastic comments from our guests.
Last June we held our wedding in Scotland and as a treat for our guests, wanted a traditional Scottish ceilidh.
After some searching we found the Cragganmore band and after discussing our requirements with Cameron, booked them for the big day.
Our weeding was very small and we needed a band that could make a great evening with limited numbers and with a good proportion of the guests, who had never done Scottish country dancing before!
The guys from the band were fantastic… they quicky got everyone into the spirit with a Gay Gordons to break the ice and as people warmed to the evening, their calling of the dances was superb. This allowed everyone to have an absolute ball and an evening to remember.
For the second half of the evening we did a more traditional disco, providing Cameron with our desired playlist which he had and managed to ensure we kept the great vibe going until the last dance.
If you are looking for a great set of musicians, who really understand Scottish country dancing, who provide a great fun filled evening then I cannot recommend The Cragganmore Ceilidh Band highly enough.
They did us proud and made our day all the more special with a great set of both Scottish country and contemporary dance music to close out our special day.
This is the second time we have booked Craggonmore for our Xmas office party and yet again they did not disappoint. Whilst there were a few of the staff struggling to get to get grips with the dances the patience of the band never waivered. An absolute delight to have and 100% recommend to anyone thinking of having a ceilidh band at any party. Thanks again guys.

The band were amazing, and the caller was great (as half of our guests had never been to a Ceilidh before), no one left the dance floor at any point, even when Cameron took over for the DJ, the dance floor was still packed. We spoke through with Cameron what we wanted and he met the brief perfectly. I’d highly recommend booking the band & DJ package! Thanks so much again guys, me and all of our guests loved you!
Brilliant Ceilidh and DJ set provided by Cragganmore Ceilidh Band at our wedding! They were absolutely brilliant – they took us through all the steps of each dance more than once when needed! Cameron was excellent and helping organise the night – couldn’t recommend highly enough!!!
Wow! I can say with confidence, and not just cause they were my wedding band, they are one of the best I have seen!
We had the Fiddle Duo for the ceremony as well as the drinks reception, hired their PA system and also had the ceilidh band and DJ (the full works) and I literally cannot fault them at all.
People kept commenting on how great they were and how they would love to book them also.
Cameron is amazing to deal with, answered my many emails of random questions and they even managed to do their version of The Universal by Blur for when I walked down the aisle.

Cragganmore Ceilidh band where hired to help us celebrate our one year anniversary. We married during the height of Covid and whilst we had a beautiful intimate ceremony, we missed celebrating with our friends and extended family. When it came to our anniversary party, we new it would be epic and we needed a band to match our plans. Cragganmore were brilliant, from start to finish, the party was in full swing. Everyone danced the whole night and the dance floor was full for every ceilidh reel. We had a lot of friends who had never been to a ceilidh and they are still raving about how great the night was. I think it took almost a week for my feet ro recover. All the dances where called and everyone was able to participate, even if they had never ceilidhed before. From first contact, the guys were brilliant. Very communicative amd responsive. They created a night full of music special to us. If your looking for a great band, book Cragganmore Celidh band. They will make your party memorable.
We booked Cragganmore Ceilidh Band for our wedding 3 weeks ago and we are so glad that we did. They are really great to deal with when planning the event as they tailor the night to suit your needs and are super approachable. They offer a disco/DJ option as well, which means you can spilt your night to have both if ceilidh dancing isn’t everyones cup of tea. They have a caller too for the guests who want to get involved but don’t know the steps. Highly recommend!

Cragganmore played for our wedding reception and they were FANTASTIC! Cameron was always so friendly and prompt with communications and nothing was ever a problem. This was especially helpful during the pandemic, where we weren’t even sure if we would get a ceilidh. But the band were so flexible, so it was never a worry. On the night, they kept everyone on the dance floor and set a wonderful atmosphere. They read the crowd really well and knew exactly how long to leave the break etc. The music was brilliant and the caller did a spot on job too.
I cannot speak highly enough of them – I would definitely recommend to anyone (and their prices were totally reasonable too!).
