What can I say! Luke is incredible! From the initial first contact Luke made the effort to set up a call and discuss all of our requirements for the day, we then had a follow up call nearer the time, he is very down to earth, friendly and very professional! We had an issue with our flooring at the venue and was concerned where the DJ bit would be set up, but after a FaceTime call to Luke he made us feel at ease and nothing was ever a problem!

On the day Luke went above and beyond for us, he made sure everything run so smoothly, we didn’t have a wedding coordinator as I had organised everything myself but he took it upon himself to just step in and make sure everything run well from little things to ensuring each table went up for food at the right time to talking with our photographer to organise some bits that we wanted to do! The games were fun during the wedding breakfast and the music was just perfect!!

We hired our mirror photo booth and our love letters from him also.

I would 100% recommend this company if you ever need a DJ and more.

Luke and his team were great. Our DJ (I think his name was Lamal) was there early on our wedding to set up and played a great playlist. Luke was also really accommodating in moving our dates due to COVID, and he was always there when I had questions about other rentals (magic mirrors etc)

We booked Luke as the DJ for our wedding. From our initial meeting through to the wedding day, he was helpful and friendly and completely tailored the whole night to our tastes.
In addition to our first dance, we were able to select specific songs for certain times plus our close family members could request in advance as well as on the night. We also ordered some up-lights, love letters and a magic mirror – all of which just added to the night. Luke was fantastic and communicative on the run up to the day and all our guests have raved about what a fantastic DJ he was. Would highly recommend him for any special occasion!

The best DJ you will find in Hertfordshire!!!! Luke DJ’d at our wedding in April 2022, he arranges to have a meet/phone call with you prior to the date to collate information regarding preferences to what music you like and how you want uplighting done etc.
He made sure that on the day the dance floor was filled, by doing this he read the floor and put on music that all generations would like and get up dancing to.I can say that everyone had the best time and at some point all danced, sung and enjoyed themselves! Luke always made sure that the guests were happy and especially us as the bride and groom. I (the bride) even got a little go on the decks, which was so fun! Aswell as making sure that we were all dancing and having fun, Luke will take photos and videos with consent on the day and will put together a cute video that summarises the day, which we LOVED!!!! I could not fault him, absolutely amazing!!! Goes above and beyond to make your day what you want and more. If ever in doubt of finding a DJ, look no further as Platinum Disco is the one! If ever I have another event and need a DJ, I will be back in contact with Luke and his team! Also very reasonably priced. Such a responsive and quick service throughout. Luke who helped bring everything together couldn’t have done more for us in the run up to the big day. It’s also really interactive as we got so much say in songs we wanted to hear to those that were on the do not go there list! They were so slick with setting up I didn’t even notice them at all! There was a slight hiccup with the 1st dance when the wrong song came on first of all but was then quickly rectified and had left us with a funny story! All in all so pleased we used Platinum Disco for our DJ. The extras we hired too including the Magic Mirror was really popular and they even bespokely designed the background to match my husbands Kilt! Great service, thank you!

Luke did a fantastic job DJing at our Wedding Reception. We had numerous guests getting in touch with us afterwards letting us know how much then enjoyed and how great the music selection was. We only selected about half of the tracks played, so great credit to Luke’s skill.
Luke was very communicative throughout the process and was really helpful in guiding us through and letting us know what to think about and his options. Luke’s whole setup is very customisable and flexible to any kind of venue. His portal is also very helpful in guiding which songs are best played during the stages of the wedding. Would definitely recommend for any wedding venue and for anyone looking for a stellar disco!

Platinum Disco provided the music for our wedding in October. Luke was brilliant in the build-up and on the day. We had the brand new rustic booth which just looked absolutely perfect and he added some additional lights that matched our colour scheme too! The music was amazing and included all the songs we asked for and everyone had a wonderful time commenting on how much fun they’d had dancing and singing along to so many songs!
Would highly recommend Luke and Platinum Disco and hope that we can also use them again for any big events we may have in the future!

We had Luke from Platinum Disco as our Wedding DJ in August 2022, and we are so grateful for him and his expertise in making our wedding evening one to remember forever!

He is very professional but also so friendly, he put us at ease with our wedding worries, throws in suggestions and advice which helped us with some of our planning too! Bonus extra. The online planner is cool, he guided us through this too and helped with some suggestions. All songs we listed on here was played too. He even repeated the same song when asked (probably drunkenly demanded!) which not a lot of DJs would do! It was tailored to US and everything we wanted and more.

The set up is gorgeous, we had the LOVE letters & uplighting around the room which added to the decor and atmosphere loads. Recommend choosing these extras.

Luke was flexible on the day, we was outside enjoying the sun and drinks and ended up pushing back our cake cut and first dance by around an hour, we also added some last minute specific dedicated dances in too.

Luke keeps our floor dancing all night long, and we did not want the party to end. We had a very small wedding of maybe around 35-40 max in the evening, and it never ever felt like there was little people there.

Guests of all ages each has plenty of songs to enjoy and boogie to!

So Thankyou so much, and if we ever throw another party we will most definitely be going straight to Luke at Platinum Discos without a doubt!

What can we say. Luke was just amazing for our special day. He’s very kind, professional and laid back. We had people from our wedding coming up to us all night to tell us how great the music was. Luke obviously knows his stuff and he really helped the day run smoothly. We booked the magic mirror too, which was great fun. Not too many people took photos because they were all on the dance floor instead. He even got my partner up dancing…and that’s impossible !

Platinum Disco and Entertainment stepped in and saved the day when our previous DJ had to drop out of our wedding a week before due to Covid. Luke was super responsive at all hours when we were messaging round in a panic! Our DJ on the day, Mark, was brilliant, he played a great mix of music and read the crowd well.
