We booked Twist of Rock for our wedding in July 2024 and it was the single best decision we made after deciding to get married! David was in regular and helpful contact from before we booked and up until the day before. On the night, our guests were blown away by the quality, energy and obvious enjoyment the band had playing together. They also learnt our first dance and made it even more memorable. I would recommend Twist of Rock to everyone – the perfect soundtrack to our perfect day.

We booked Twist of Rock to play at our wedding (July 27th 2024) based on good reviews, YouTube videos of their performances and previous recommendations. David and the band were nothing short of exceptional , from the 80’s style rock music we selected, to their participation with the guests, and general professionalism. We were treated to 3 sets of incredible music, talented musicians, and a powerful lead singer in Carla. Thank you so much. 5 stars.

Right from our very first contact with David Dyer , we knew this band was the one for our daughters wedding. Nothing was too much trouble , playlist was extensive , advice on performance sessions was helpful. On the big night , their music was incredible , everybody young & old were enjoying themselves. Everything from Fleetwood Mac , Dolly Parton , Abba & Oasis was brilliantly performed with their lead singer hitting every note. We have no hesitation in recommending “Twist of Rock’ for your party.

We hired Twist of Rock for our summer function at RAF Halton on 18 July 24. The band are super professional with there swift arrival and set up. They played 2 x 1 hour sets for us & where absolutely fantastic. I would definately recommend this awesome band.

Twist of Rock played for us at a combined ‘father and son’ birthday party in tipis in our garden. Communication with David pre the event was excellent and they were happy to iterate a bit on their suggested set lists to suit the occasion. The sound quality (music and vocals) and lighting were excellent on the night and they really got the multi-generational audience dancing! Would highly recommend, amazing band! We hired them for our wedding and we are so glad we did!!! They did a really fantastic job learning our first dance song (which was a bit of an obscure choice!) And the vocals were just amazing. Only wish we could go and see them perform again!

Had such a great night with Twist and Rock, they squeezed into the small area we had for them at our post wedding party and adjusted to our last minute location change! They were so professional and amazing! And all sounded even better than we couldve imagined! The set up with the lights and everything made our party, and our personalised 1st dance was perfect! We booked Twist of Rock for our wedding in May 2023. They were incredible!!! Always difficult to know completely what to expect when booking a band without having seen them play before, but these four were so so good. Brilliant music, incredible vocals, great fun and had everyone (including those who said they wouldn’t!) dancing. Highly recommend if anyone is considering them.

Wow, Wow, Wow. What an amazing Rock band to have found.

From the initial call with David, right through to the last song, what an amazing professional band.

David and the team, met my brief perfectly. In fact, they went above and beyond for us.

We had a Hawaiian theme and they decorated their speakers in grass skirts and flowers around the staging. All band members embraced the Hawaiian theme with loud shirts and bright colours.

It was the little touches, like they sent my husband a birthday card and arrived before my first guests arrived, even though that meant being there a couple of hours before. It was the small touches, that made us so grateful and made an 50th Birthday celebration perfect. They were also able to meet my brief of 3 sets at 45 minutes each. Some of the other bands we spoke to, were very inflexible.

Music was all in tune and lead singer Miranda, was amazing, fantastic vocal range. We love the song choices, but the last set just hit the mark to end a perfect evening. At one point Miranda joined the guests on the dance floor, and we literally thought we were at some A lister rock concert. Amazing!

No problems with the sound, and their equipment worked flawlessly throughout.

All our guests commented on what a fantastic job they had done for us.

Unlike other bands, what was nice, is that they had 1 price, that included everything, music, interval music, lights, travel.

Nothing was too much trouble and David’s wife (so sorry I cannot remember your name) was able to support during the intervals and was out front, to help with turning the interval music up and down.

Would definitely book again as loved every minute of their performances and professionalism.

Twist of Rock recently performed at our corporate event and they were absolutely brilliant. From first enquiry they were very professional and super organised and kept in great contact right up to the evening of the event. The music was varied and they really made sure that everyone was having a good time! Super friendly group of people. We cannot fault them and would definitely be keen to book again for future events. Highly recommended.

Twist of Rock played beautifully at our wedding during May 2022. The band were so friendly, really organised, kept in contact (despite us not being so organised!). I felt like they really go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Everyone had a fantastic time at the wedding reception, and David is still sending us nice clips they have of the night, which is a really nice touch! The singer Finola was also fantastic (as well as the rest of the band!). Can’t fault them, I would certainly recommend these guys!! I would just like to send a note to thank you all for a really memorable evening. Everyone was very impressed. I was a bit worried that my retirement do would be a bit glum as we are not really the partying types, but you got everyone on the dance floor so well done!.
